Visualizing Sound
This is a data visualization piece that explores the visualization of chords on a guitar. It looks deeper into the construction of sounds through different genres, and way of playing such as chord progression and fingerstyle guitar. This visualization helps to show the translation of sounds into pictures and can act as a music sheet for those that don’t necessarily know how to read notes, but can understand basic shapes and lines!

This visualization compares 3 drastically different genres: Reggae, Emo-Rap, and Pop.
Oshenie loves music and learning new things in music education. This project is an exploration piece that portrayed alternative and accessible Design for those that might have difficulties hearing by creating a visual alternative. It also provides a visual for those that might not be advanced enough to read sheet music but still enjoy playing around in a freestyle non-professional way.
